FRANKFURT (Reuters) – German quality manufacturer Audi is in talks with very long-time period companion FAW Team [SASACJ.UL] about building a 2nd joint undertaking to make electrical cars on its PPE system in China, Germany’s Automobilwoche documented on Saturday.
Audi and FAW have a Chinese joint venture to develop combustion-engined cars in the northeastern city of Changchun and the southern town of Foshan.
An Audi spokeswoman declined to comment on the report.
